Bartender

About this Position

We are currently seeking an outgoing, energetic bartender with superior customer service skills. The right candidate will possess the following: Great can-do attitude, strong work ethic, keen attention to detail and clean work habits. In addition to bartending, you will also serve on occasion to customers at the lanes and in the restaurant. The bartender will be trained on activating bowling lanes and helping customers on the lanes. 

Responsibilities

  • Creates an amazing dining and entertainment experience for our Guests.
  • Makes suggestions for food and drink, using salesmanship to increase check averages
  • Checks identification of customers to verify they are of legal drinking age
  • Takes accurate orders and delivers food and drinks promptly
  • Records drink orders accurately into POS
  • Ensures that all food and beverage being served are in keeping with our standards of quality and freshness
  • Accurately pours all measurements needed to make drinks
  • Follows recipes for all drinks according to Company Standards & ensures the consistency of drinks
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of food, drink and any “specials” menu
  • Serves food to customers seated at the bar
  • Responds promptly to requests from customers in a polite and professional fashion
  • Serves alcohol responsibly and in accordance to all state and federal laws
  • Processes transactions using the POS system
  • Follows service guidelines in highly distracting circumstances
  • Reports any and all safety issues to management immediately
  • Maintains above average concern for cleanliness and hygiene- both personal and professional
  • Prepares checks for customers

  • Sets-up and breaks down the bar according to company standards

Server

About this Position

We are in search of dynamic go-getters with high service standards to serve on the lanes! As a server at Stowe Bowl, you must have an out-going and friendly personality and have the ability to strike up a conversation with anyone. You will also be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the center, making sure to keep all chairs, tables, couches, and floors clean and safe for guests. Serving at Stowe Bowl is not just about dining; it’s about creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Creates a great dining and entertainment experience for guests
  • Makes suggestions for drink and food using salesmanship to increase check averages
  • Takes accurate orders and delivers food and drinks promptly
  • Removes dirty and/or empty plates and/or glasses promptly
  • Ensures that all food & beverage being served are in keeping with our standards of quality and freshness
  • Prepares room for dining by cleaning tables and setting condiments, napkins, service, plates, and utensils
  • Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
  • Helps customers select food and beverages by presenting menu; offering cocktails; suggesting food; explaining the specials; identifying   appropriate wines; answering food preparation questions
  • Assists with seating customers at lanes or tables as needed
  • Assists with distribution of bowling shoes and showing customers how to use the bowling system as needed
  • Is proactive in offering assistance to guests
  • Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording customer's choices; identifying any special dietary needs and special requests

Customer Service Representative

About this Position

Stowe Bowl is seeking Customer Service Reps for the front desk reception. The customer service rep has the responsibility of providing an amazing bowling experience to our guests. They greet guests with a smile as they deliver prompt, friendly and efficient service. They are responsible for assigning bowling lanes, distributing shoes, answering phone, directing guests, and monitoring activity on the lanes.

Responsibilities

  • Greets guests with a smile and provides them with information about the center’s programs, services, promotions, pricing and specials.
  • Efficiently and accurately operates all functions of the bowling computer system
  • Answers phone with the proper greeting and provides prompt and accurate information
  • Ensures maximum utilization of lanes through efficient control of guest flow
  • Accurately assigns rental shoes and lanes
  • Cleans, sprays and disinfects rental shoes upon return, brushing the soles
  • Tracks lane availability and assigns open lanes
  • Prepares for leagues and ensure they start on time
  • Promptly notifies manager of any lane problems
  • Cash Handling: gives proper change and maintains accurate cash drawer
  • Assists other employees with miscellaneous duties to prevent delays in guest service
  • Operates P/A system
  • Promptly assists and responds to all guest questions and seeks help from management and other employees as needed.
  • Graciously accommodate all scheduled parties and events

Line Cook

About this Position

We are seeking a line cook whose ultimate goal is to provide a fresh, tasteful and attractive looking food dish in a timely fashion. A positive team-oriented attitude is key to contributing to our fun and productive operations. This line cook position will be trained to complete service for both AM and PM shifts and will assist with special events and parties when necessary. While the line cook does not always come into contact with the customer, customer service and satisfaction should always be at top of mind in terms of his or her appearance, hygiene, and interactions with guests. The success and enjoyment of working at our establishment is dependent on the staff person’s ability to live and work by principles of honesty and mutual respect.

Responsibilities

  • Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare menu. Service duties include: Breakfast, Brunch, Dinner, Parties and Special Events
  • Prepare a variety of foods that meet company standards on quality and timeliness of service
  • Arrange sauces and supplementary garnishes for allocated station
  • Cover, date and correctly store all bits and pieces and food prep items
  • Notify Kitchen Manager in advance of likely shortages
  • Serve menu items compliant with established standards
  • Use food preparation tools in accordance with manufactures instructions
  • Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area at all times
  • Keep the work area fresh all through the shift
  • Make sure all storage areas are tidy and all products are stored appropriately
  • Constantly use safe and hygienic food handling practices
  • Returns dirty food preparation utensils to the appropriate areas
  • Assist with all duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager
  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine
  • Close the kitchen correctly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations
