Frequently Asked Questions
So... is this regular bowling, duckpin bowling, candlepin bowling, or what?
We have eight traditional 10-pin bowling on regulation-size lanes.
What are your prices?
See our rates for more detailed information!
Do I pay per hour or per game?
Both are possible, however during busy times we only allow hourly bowling.
Can I make a reservation?
Yes, we accept reservations! A minimum of 10 people are required for all reservations, as well as a 2 hour time commitment. Visit our Book A Party page to learn more about our reservation options, and begin a reservation inquiry.
How do I book parties or events?
Mouse over to our Parties page for more information! Our events manager will be happy to assist!
I would like to play my videos on your amazing screens during our party. Can you make it happen?
We sure can! Please let our events manager know when you submit a reservation inquiry.
Will my child be able to bowl?
Of course! We have ramps (subject to availability) and bumpers to help them roll, and the little ones will have a blast!
Can I drop in for just a bite or a drink?
Absolutely! Stowe Bowl has plenty of seating outside the lanes. Get cozy in our fireplace lounge, or grab a seat at the bar! We have local beer and cider, wine, and mixed drinks... the menu has something for everyone!
Do you host any leagues?
Yes! Check out our bowling league page for current league information.
What about those strings attached to the pins?
Our lanes are equipped with state-of-the-art Qubica AMF TMS string pinspotters. This does have the slight downside that any leagues we host will not be officially recognized by the United States Bowling Congress. The same goes for any 300 games you pro bowlers out there might roll in our venue. For the amateur/recreational bowler, there may be no discernable difference to you, but our pinspotters are quite energy efficient compared to their traditional counterparts, and reduce maintenance headaches for us!
How many players do you allow per lane?
We allow up to six players per lane.
Will I be able to extend my bowl time?
When we have a waiting list, you will not be able to add time. Others are lined up to bowl after you. We hope you understand.
How do the bowling shoes fit?
Our bowling shoes fit true to size, and we have half sizes. We also have children's shoes starting size 5.
I am wearing sandals without socks! Now what?
Wearing socks is mandatory if you'd like to rent shoes from us (it's a sanitary thing...). But don't worry, we sell socks in case you didn't bring any.
Bring your neighbor or meet your neighbor! Lamoille and Washington County residents bowl for $5 per game per person every Tuesday from April 3 to June 12!
